About this role
Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab provides direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating care per shift and at the unit level. The RN supervises delegated care and ensures safe, high-quality nursing care aligned with hospital standards and patient safety priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical patient care per shift and unit level
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care
- Coordinate and integrate patient care using the nursing process
- Administer all medications safely per hospital policy
- Complete HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities as directed
Technical Overview
Clinical workflow centers on the nursing process for coordinating patient care, administering medications per policy, and following Infection Control and risk management standards. Certifications include AHA BLS as required, with unit-dependent AHA ACLS/AHA PALS/AHA NRP.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse (RN) with active nursing licensure and current AHA BLS certification, comfortable providing direct clinical patient care and coordinating nursing care using the nursing process. They have strong infection control, medication administration, and patient safety focus, and can complete HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities.
