About this role
RN in Cardiac Cath Lab responsible for initial assessments, pre-screening, and assisting with invasive diagnostic testing procedures; ensures safe, successful procedures and proper discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide initial assessment; Pre-screen lab work; Notify physician of abnormal findings; Perform interventions for safe invasive testing; Document nursing interventions and discharge planning
Technical Overview
Invasive cardiac procedures in a Cath Lab with pre/post care, coordination with anesthesiology and specialists, and patient education; requires BLS/ACLS and California RN licensure.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level RN with 5+ years in critical care, specialized in the Cardiac Cath Lab, and current BLS/ACLS with a California RN license. Interventional Neurology and/or EP experience are strong pluses; BSN preferred.
