Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

Provides professional bedside nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines. Evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, participates in hourly rounding, and ensures safety guidelines and safe work practices.

• Provide individualized bedside nursing care using the nursing process
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines
• Assess, plan, delegate, and direct other healthcare employees for patient care
• Evaluate nursing practice effectiveness to identify patient goals
• Participate in hourly rounding and follow safety guidelines and safe work practices

Clinical nursing role following the nursing process, including delegation and independent judgment for directing patient care. Unit-specific requirements may include maternal-newborn and neonatal competencies such as Advanced Fetal Monitoring, Level III NICU, neonatal ventilator experience, and certifications like ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and NRP depending on assignment.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with a nursing degree from an accredited school and an active Arizona RN license. They hold CPR and ACLS, and have relevant unit experience aligned to the posting (including potential neonatal or maternal-newborn requirements such as Advanced Fetal Monitoring, Level III NICU, or NRP). They demonstrate strong patient assessment, rounding, and safety practices in a fast-paced hospital setting.
