Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room providing direct clinical patient care per shift and at the unit level. The role supervises delegated care, supports high-quality and safe nursing practices, and fulfills hospital emergency responsibilities using HICS.

• Assess, plan, implement direct clinical care per shift and unit level
• Supervise staff and ensure delegated care is appropriate
• Accountable for quality, safety, and appropriate nursing care
• Support competency of clinical staff and resource management related to patient care
• Perform HICS responsibilities and know hospital emergency codes

Clinical nursing role focused on direct patient care delivery using the nursing process, with operational readiness through HICS and adherence to Infection Control, risk management, and QI standards.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse (RN) with a nursing degree from a state-approved or accredited school and an active RN licensure. They are CPR-certified and experienced (or trained) in safe, high-quality patient care with strong infection control, risk management, and quality improvement habits in a hospital setting.
