The OR RN performs initial assessments appropriate to the patient’s clinical presentation and care setting and prioritizes needs for further assessment. This per diem day role requires operating room experience and active life support certifications.

The ideal candidate is an RN with at least 1 year of operating room experience in an acute care facility and/or surgery center. They hold a current California RN license plus current BLS and ACLS certifications, and they can perform appropriate initial assessments and prioritize further assessment needs based on the patient’s clinical presentation.
