About this role
Provide technical assistance to maintenance supervision for repair and improvement of process equipment across the plant. Drive failure analysis, develop maintenance procedures, support shop repair follow-through, and participate in process improvement and safety culture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance for repair and improvement of process equipment
- Develop and improve maintenance procedures and repair-follow processes
- Perform equipment failure analysis to prevent reoccurrence using root cause analysis
- Follow equipment repair in shops to ensure timely and proper repair
- Participate in process improvement programs (Six Sigma) and uphold safety culture (PACE)
Technical Overview
Reliability engineering role focused on equipment failure analysis using root cause analysis for stationary equipment. Requires knowledge of NDE, shop processes, ASME code (Sec. VIII), corrosion and metallurgy, and familiarity with OSHA process safety management requirements related to mechanical integrity, with CMMS usage and proficiency in MS Word/PowerPoint.
