About this role
Conduct life cycle analyses for renewable transportation fuels and ensure regulatory compliance across EPA RFS, California LCFS, and Oregon Clean Fuels programs. Collaborate with internal teams to gather data, model fuel life cycles, and communicate insights to regulators and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand knowledge of renewable programs and rulemaking
- Collect, share, and provide recommendations based on industry intelligence to benefit decision making
- Participate in Commercial and CRRA initiatives and industry associations; report findings
- Develop and update written policies and procedures related to regulatory programs
- Develop QA protocols and data reports; ensure data accuracy and compliance
Technical Overview
Role centers on life cycle modeling and data management for regulatory programs, with emphasis on LCA methodology, data QA, and reporting. Requires understanding of multiple state/federal programs and the data used to model carbon intensity.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-career Life Cycle Analyst with 2+ years of renewables or oil & gas experience, strong data modeling skills, and proven capability to interpret and apply renewable regulatory programs (RFS, LCFS, Oregon CFR). They should be adept at collaborating with regulators and internal teams to ensure accurate LCA modeling and regulatory compliance.
