About this role
Databricks is seeking a Resident Solutions Architect to work with manufacturing customers on big data challenges using the Databricks platform. The RSA will lead data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects, integrating with client systems, training, and other technical tasks to help customers maximize value from their data.

- Design and build reference architectures; productionalize customer use cases
- Scope professional services with engagement managers
- Guide strategic customers through big data projects and migrations
- Consult on architecture and design; bootstrap or implement customer projects
- Collaborate with engineering and support to deliver engagements
Technical Overview
Role requires deep Spark experience and distributed computing, plus proficiency in Python or Scala and cloud expertise across AWS, Azure, or GCP. The candidate will design end-to-end data architectures and production-grade Databricks solutions, with CI/CD and MLOps practices, collaborating with engineering and support teams.

The ideal candidate is a senior RSA with 6+ years of data engineering and analytics experience, proficient in Python or Scala, and skilled with Apache Spark across cloud platforms.
