About this role

Respiratory Therapist providing home and community-based respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setup, with documentation and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and followups
Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately
Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams

Technical Overview

Clinical respiratory therapy with equipment setup, spirometry, pulse oximetry, ETCO2; documentation on iPad/laptop; on-call responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

Registered Respiratory Therapist with active PA RT license, CPR certification, and flexible on-site availability for home visits in southwestern PA; strong patient education and equipment setup skills.
