About this role
Per Diem Respiratory Therapist at Corona Regional Medical Center; provide respiratory therapy including assessment and treatment; support care teams across acute and rehabilitation units.
Key Responsibilities
- provides respiratory therapy including assessment, treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation including ABG lab procedures, puncture and analysis
- care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system
- provides consultation, instruction, and/or technical direction to medical, nursing, and other staff members
- does limited cardiology diagnostic procedures
- per diem at Corona Regional Rehabilitation Subacute Unit
Technical Overview
RRT and CA license required; uses respiratory care equipment; ABG lab procedures
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a CA-licensed respiratory therapist with RRT certification, able to provide per diem respiratory care in Corona's hospital network, with BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP.
