Retail Associate at Ross Stores responsible for ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience, greeting customers, maintaining store cleanliness and merchandise presentation, and assisting across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide courteous service
- Maintain a clean, organized store and merchandise presentation
- Assist customers with merchandise and register transactions
- Follow Loss Prevention Awareness, MOS policies, and store procedures
- Safeguard cash, confidential information, and comply with safety standards
Technical Overview
No software development; uses store equipment such as registers and PDTs; follows MOS and loss prevention procedures.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level retail associate with strong customer service orientation and ability to handle basic cash transactions, stocking and merchandising. Experience in a fast-paced store and comfortable following MOS and loss-prevention procedures.
