About this role
Ross Stores is seeking an in-store Retail Associate to provide a positive shopping experience, greet customers, handle basic transactions, and maintain store appearance and safety. The role supports merchandising, loss prevention practices, and adherence to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- greet customers and provide friendly service
- assist customers with merchandise and questions
- maintain safe, clean store and merchandise presentation
- expedite received merchandise to the sales floor and ensure proper stock
- follow loss prevention, MOS policies, and store procedures
Technical Overview
Non-technical role with in-store POS (register) and basic store equipment (PDTs). No software development or IT systems required.
