Retail Associate

Retail Associate at Ross Stores focuses on delivering a positive customer experience, maintaining brand presentation, and supporting store operations. The role requires engagement with customers, adherence to safety and MOS standards, and efficient merchandising across the store.

• Provide excellent customer service on the sales floor
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment with proper merchandise presentation
• Assist customers with merchandise and questions and process transactions
• Expedite new merchandise to the floor and restore stock to guidelines
• Adhere to MOS policies and loss prevention standards

Technical scope centers on operating store hardware (PDTs/registers) and performing cashier duties; no software development involved. Basic familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is expected.

The ideal candidate is an entry-level retail associate with strong customer service and merchandising skills who can operate POS/PDT hardware and handle basic cash transactions. They should be capable of maintaining store presentation, following MOS and loss prevention standards, and thriving in a fast-paced, in-person retail environment.
