US Foods is hiring a full-time CHEF'STORE Retail Sales Associate (FT) in Pendleton, OR. The role supports both front-end cashier duties and sales floor stocking/replenishment across multiple departments, with flexible availability and weekends required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service and complete cashier duties in POS, Scan and weigh products accurately (held-held scan gun, 10 keypad, countertop scales), Transfer carts to carts and inspect for product tampering, Stock and replenish shelves with proper rotation and quality checks, Support store opening/closing and inventory processes/events
Technical Overview
This is an in-store retail operations role centered on accurate POS transactions and merchandise handling. The work includes barcode scanning, weighing items on countertop scales, receiving and stocking inventory, and performing receipt checking and product labeling tasks.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level retail associate who can deliver excellent customer service and accurately complete cashier and stocking tasks. They are comfortable using a point-of-sale (POS) system, scanning merchandise with a held-held scan gun and 10 keypad, weighing items on countertop scales, and supporting inventory and shrinkage control—especially with weekend availability.
