Retail Sales Associate PT

The CHEF'STORE Sales Associate PT supports both the front end (cashier and customer checkout) and sales floor stocking/receiving. The role requires accurate POS scanning and receipt checking, plus maintaining product rotation, labeling, and quality audits.

• Perform POS sales and cash functions including scanning and lookup for items that will not scan
• Weigh products on countertop scales and verify barcode accuracy
• Run cart-to-cart transfer and act as a receipt checker with product tampering inspection
• Support sales floor stocking: receiving inventory shipments, stocking shelves, and rotating product
• Maintain shrinkage controls, merchandise labeling, and complete product quality audits

Operational focus on retail point-of-sale execution including scanning merchandise via a held-held scan gun or 10 keypad, weighing items on countertop scales, and verifying barcode accuracy. Also includes inventory receiving and merchandising tasks like replenishing freight, rotating product, and conducting quality audits.

The ideal candidate is an entry-level retail sales associate comfortable working the front end as a cashier and supporting stocking and receiving tasks. They can accurately scan items at POS, handle customer service interactions professionally, and follow store processes for inventory rotation, labeling, and shrinkage reduction.
