About this role
Operate a CDL B collection/roll-off truck to provide safe, courteous waste removal services. Perform required inspections, maintain daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs), complete route and productivity paperwork, and follow all safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues
- Safely operate collection truck along designated routes and disposal site
- Lift and load refuse and operate compactor using manual/automatic controls
- Complete VCRs and route/productivity sheets daily as required
- Monitor for unacceptable waste and handle accidental waste spills per safety standards
Technical Overview
Operate manual and/or automatic controls to lift and load refuse and operate a compactor for disposal trips. Maintain operational readiness through daily VCRs, complete route sheet and route/productivity sheets, and follow safety procedures for spills and waste contamination monitoring.
