About this role
Rotating Equipment Technical Specialist will ensure system integrity while maintaining compliance and safety of facility equipment by improving performance and reliability of rotating equipment. Project planning and collaboration across company partners are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs sophisticated technical assignments to ensure system integrity and equipment maintenance
- Troubleshoots complex problems with precedent-based guidance
- Assists with development and implementation of maintenance programs for rotating equipment
- Participates in project planning with partners
- Reads and evaluates engineering design documents
Technical Overview
Extensive rotating equipment focus including motors, compressors, pumps; strong knowledge of vibration and pulsation analysis; familiarity with reliability programs and health monitoring tools; uses Maximo, Windrock Analyzers, OSIsoft PI, and GERP/Ariel software.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior rotating equipment specialist with 8+ years in oil & gas, strong knowledge of MV/LV motors, compressors, pumps, and maintenance programs, and familiarity with vibration/Pulsation analysis and API 618.
Must-Have Skills
High school diploma/GED with equivalent experience or Associates degree and a minimum eight (8) years' experience in oil & gas industryExperience with Low and Medium voltage electric motorsreciprocating compressorscentrifugal compressors and pumpsAbility to readunderstand and evaluate engineering design documents
Nice-to-Have Skills
