About this role
This role leads Avantor’s Laboratory Design sales efforts and manages a technical Sales Specialist team while expanding into the high-end laboratory design market. The Sales Director is responsible for pipeline development, deal screening, negotiation, and closing, alongside team growth and external partnership management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical Sales Specialist team
- Leverage key accounts database to build a pipeline of projects and target accounts
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financial impact
- Build pipeline and negotiate and close business relationships
- Recruit, hire, train, and build a solid sales team

The role requires practical experience with AutoCAD and Revit plus CRM usage and analytics using PowerBI and Qliksense. It also emphasizes advanced Excel for reporting and analysis to evaluate deals and market strategies.
