About this role
DXC is hiring a Sales Manager for US Public Sector / Aerospace and Defense to drive growth across pipeline, bookings, and revenue. The role leads complex, long sales cycles by building executive relationships and managing pursuits through win strategy, proposal, negotiation, and close.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Aerospace and Defense growth across pipeline, bookings, and revenue
- Lead qualification through win strategy, proposal, negotiation, and close for large initiatives
- Manage executive relationships with defense primes, aerospace OEMs, and suppliers
- Navigate regulated federal/public sector environments including IDIQs and task orders
- Maintain pipeline discipline and accurate forecasting with clear win strategies aligned to DXC priorities
Technical Overview
This sales role focuses on selling large-scale digital transformation programs including enterprise platforms (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics), application modernization, cloud transformation, cybersecurity, and data/AI initiatives. It requires strong technical understanding to shape opportunities and support delivery transition post-close.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader who has spent years selling Aerospace and Defense and can own growth across pipeline, bookings, and revenue. They understand federal and public sector procurement and have experience with regulated pursuits including IDIQs and task orders, and can sell large digital transformation programs involving enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, and Microsoft Dynamics.
