About this role
Global Payments is hiring an Outside Sales Executive to sell Genius(R) POS and related technology solutions to small and mid-sized merchants. The role owns the full sales cycle from lead generation and outreach through demos and contract closing, with ongoing coaching from a District Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect new clients and generate leads
- Conduct engaging product presentations and live demos
- Manage the full sales cycle including contract closing
- Maintain accurate client records and pipeline activity in Atlas and Salesforce CRM systems
- Upsell and cross-sell additional Global Payments services
Technical Overview
The technical scope centers on selling a cloud-based Point of Sale (POS) and payment platform, including demoing capabilities like payment processing, inventory management, and customer engagement. Candidates must track pipeline activity and client records using Atlas and Salesforce CRM systems.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a proven outside sales professional who can prospect, run product demos (in-person and virtual), and close contracts for POS and payment technology solutions. They should be comfortable managing the full sales cycle, maintaining CRM and pipeline hygiene in Atlas and Salesforce CRM, and partnering closely with a District Manager for coaching and appointment setting.
