About this role
This hybrid Fall 2026 internship supports Sales Support Operations at Imperial Supplies (a Grainger company). The intern will build PowerPoint presentations, conduct customer research using data platforms and web research, and support reporting and project work tied to sales and distribution goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build dynamic PowerPoint presentations
- Conduct customer research using data platforms and web research
- Create Excel spreadsheets including pivot tables, graphs, and charts
- Support understanding of Big Data and its business importance
- Assist with project management across multiple initiatives and priorities
Technical Overview
The role emphasizes data-informed work using PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, charts, and graphs). It also includes exposure to Agile cross-functional team operations and Big Data concepts applied to business and sales activities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an actively enrolled college student (2- or 4-year accredited program) who is comfortable using PowerPoint and Excel (including pivot tables, charts, and graphs). They have strong written and verbal communication skills, can conduct customer research using data platforms and web research, and are eager to learn sales processes and how cross-functional teams operate in an Agile environment.
