About this role
This role is for an experienced SAP BDC Developer who will design, develop, and optimize analytical applications, dashboards, and data models. The developer will build solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere, integrating with SAP HANA and other databases while applying automation and predictive analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analytic applications and interactive dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere
- Connect, model, and harmonize data from SAP and non-SAP sources in SAP Datasphere
- Customize SAC applications using JavaScript and other scripting languages
- Orchestrate data automation processes in Datasphere
- Continuously optimize dashboard and application performance and identify bottlenecks
Technical Overview
You will create SAC dashboards and KPI models, customize SAC applications using JavaScript, and orchestrate data automation processes in Datasphere. Responsibilities include building governed data models, integrating SAC/Datasphere with SAP HANA and non-SAP sources, and improving performance of analytics outputs using Agile/Scrum practices.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior SAP analytics developer with 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2–3 years focused on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere. They have hands-on expertise with SAP BDC, strong SAC predictive/Smart functionalities, and the ability to build governed data models and high-performing dashboards integrated with SAP HANA.
