About this role
SAP ERP consultant to support Federal Prison Industries (FPI) with SAP integration, S/4HANA upgrades, and cross-functional collaboration for DOJ deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP ERP configuration, operation, and continuous improvement across key business modules
- Troubleshoot SAP ERP issues and resolve problems
- Support SAP S/4HANA upgrades, patches, testing, and related configuration changes
- Coordinate with functional and technical teams to move ERP projects forward
- Assist with SAP integrations including API-connected processes
Technical Overview
Technical scope includes SAP ERP, SAP integration, S/4HANA upgrades, APIs, third-party software integration, and production planning/master data processes.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior SAP ERP consultant with 2+ years of SAP integration experience and 1+ year of S/4HANA upgrades, strong knowledge of SCM/MM/PP processes, and ability to coordinate between functional and technical teams.
Must-Have Skills
2+ years of experience with SAP integration optionsincluding third-party software configuration and SAP module configuration2+ years of experience training and transferring knowledge to junior staff1+ year of experience with U.S. Treasury G-Invoicing and SAP API integration2+ years of experience supporting business processes such as supply chain managementmaterials managementand production planning2+ years of experience coordinating functional and technical team efforts across assigned projects1+ year of experience supporting SAP S/4HANA upgradesincluding support pack or version updates2+ years of experience troubleshooting issues within SAP ERP environments2+ years of experience identifying and recommending system performance improvements
