About this role
Lead the architecture, implementation, and enhancement of SAP Material Management (MM) and Logistics modules. You will analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, configure key MM/logistics components, and ensure integration with other SAP modules while documenting standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and run workshops with supply chain/procurement/logistics stakeholders
- Design and architect SAP MM and Logistics solutions with blueprints and roadmaps
- Configure and customize SAP MM (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, Material Master Data, Valuation)
- Configure and integrate logistics components (WM/EWM, TM)
- Document configurations/customizations and ensure integration with other SAP modules
Technical Overview
Own SAP MM and Logistics solution design, including configuration for Purchasing (PR, PO, RFQ), Inventory Management (IM), Invoice Verification (IV), Warehouse Management (WM) / Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and Transportation Management (TM). Integrate SAP MM with FI, SD, and PP, support inter-company stock movement processes, and enable EDI-based logistics integrations using message sets 850/855/856/867/940/945/810.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a logistics and SAP MM architect with 4+ years implementing and configuring SAP MM and Logistics modules, including deep functional knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, and valuation. They have hands-on integration experience across SAP modules (FI, SD, PP) and strong experience with warehouse (WM/EWM) and transportation (TM) processes, including inter-company stock movements and EDI-based third-party logistics integrations.
