About this role
Amazon is seeking a SAP MM & MDG Architect to design and implement SAP MM modules and SAP MDG solutions. The role serves as a key design authority across implementation, transformation, and rollout initiatives with emphasis on master data management and warehouse-related best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure SAP MDG solutions and governance workflows
- Implement data quality rules and integrate MDG with SAP EWM and other modules
- Configure and support SAP MM components (procurement, inventory management, invoice verification)
- Design solutions for materials planning and warehouse management integration
- Translate requirements into technical specifications and support testing, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live support
Technical Overview
You will configure SAP MDG (data models, validation rules, approval workflows) and integrate MDG with SAP EWM and other SAP modules. You will also configure SAP MM (procurement, inventory management, invoice verification), translate business requirements into technical specs, perform unit/integration testing, and support data migration, cutover, and post-go-live troubleshooting.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior SAP architect with 4+ years supporting and implementing SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) and SAP Master Data Governance (SAP MDG) on SAP S/4HANA. They have hands-on experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP MDG and/or MM implementations, including data modeling, governance workflows, SAP EWM integration, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.
