About this role
SAP Planning Architect role supporting a full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation focused on manufacturing and quality. You will lead solution architecture for planning and forecasting, including MRP, master data, costing and subcontracting, plus integrations across SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business process analysis and requirements workshops
- Design scalable SAP S/4HANA planning/forecasting solution blueprints and roadmaps
- Configure and customize planning modules including Master Data and MRP
- Ensure integration across SAP PP/QM, MM, SD, and FI/CO
- Deliver data migration, documentation, end-user training, and post-go-live support
Technical Overview
Architect and configure SAP Planning and Forecasting capabilities in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring integration between SAP PP/QM and MM, SD, and FI/CO. Own data migration strategy from legacy systems, produce documentation/blueprints/roadmaps, and deliver training plus post-go-live support; act as the PMO and technical liaison managing scope, risks, and timelines.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior SAP Planning & Forecasting Architect with 4+ years of hands-on SAP planning architecture/design experience, including strong SAP S/4HANA implementation work across full lifecycle projects. They are fluent in integrating SAP PP/QM with MM, SD, and FI/CO, and they can design scalable blueprints, manage data migrations, and lead end-user training and post-go-live support.
