About this role
This role serves as a functional lead for SAP Production Planning (Demand to Plan), focusing on implementation and support of SAP projects. The lead will run workshops, design and configure SAP solutions, create and maintain functional documentation, and coordinate testing and issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct workshops and support process solutioning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure SAP PP and meet business needs
- Create/update documentation including BPDs, KDDs, CDDs, FDSs, and WRICEF objects
- Coordinate development and perform unit and integration testing
- Propose SAP standardized best practices, follow clean core guidelines, and lead root cause analysis during testing cycles
Technical Overview
You will work hands-on with SAP PP modules and S/4HANA PP, including Quality Management (QM), and participate in end-to-end full life cycle implementations. Responsibilities include interface handling, building WRICEF objects, preparing documentation (BPD/KDD/CDD/FDS), and supporting testing (unit and integration) using SAP tooling such as SAP Solution Manager and Signavio, aligned with SAP Activate methodology and SAFe.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a lead-level SAP functional expert with 10+ years of experience in SAP PP and 5+ years in S/4HANA PP, including Quality Management (QM). They have delivered end-to-end full life cycle implementations, authored SAP design documentation (BPD/KDD/CDD/FDS/WRICEF), and coordinated workshops, testing (unit and integration), and root-cause resolution across cross-functional teams.
