About this role

Contract role for a Satellite Communications Technician responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of satellite antenna systems and related RF hardware at a 24/7 onsite facility.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain six 13-meter antenna systems
Perform hands-on mechanical upkeep
Support SCES collocation project equipment installs
Schedule rotating shifts
Train during first 2 months

Technical Overview

Hands-on RF/antenna focused role with KU-band knowledge, HPAs/SSPAs, spectrum analyzers, and mechanical maintenance of 13-meter antennas.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level satellite communications technician with 3+ years of satellite experience, strong RF/KU-band knowledge, and hands-on experience with HPAs/SSPAs and spectrum analyzers. They should be comfortable working onsite in a rotating 24/7 schedule and have a mechanical aptitude for antenna maintenance.
