About this role
This role leads enterprise desktop remediation work focused on SCCM-driven application packaging/deployment and desktop vulnerability cleanup. You will work with a team to remediate backlog vulnerabilities, consolidate desktop applications, and implement an application request process through ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities
- Remediate backlog of vulnerabilities on desktops (OS and applications)
- Build packages and automate remediations using SCCM
- Catalog applications and identify vetted/approved apps with risk assessments
- Consolidate applications to reduce the desktop application footprint
- Implement an application request process through ServiceNow
Technical Overview
You will use Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to build packages and deploy applications, supporting both OS and application vulnerability remediation (including .NET framework apps). The role also involves application cataloging with risk assessments and automation of remediations, using ServiceNow for application requests.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a lead-level enterprise desktop analyst with 6+ years of SCCM-focused experience packaging and deploying applications. They have strong vulnerability remediation experience for both desktop operating system and application vulnerabilities (including .NET) and can lead technical teams while aligning remediations with business continuity.
