Position Details
About this role
As a Scheduler, you will create and update detailed engineering and construction schedules for heavy industrial projects. You will develop resource-loaded schedules, refine schedule logic and critical path networks, and provide timely progress updates and statistical reporting to project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver planning and scheduling from conceptual phases through execution
- Generate resource-loaded schedules with activities, milestones, approvals, procurement items, and deliverables
- Develop and refine schedule logic, identify constraints, and calculate realistic durations
- Evaluate impacts of design changes and schedule delays and communicate updates
- Develop and sustain critical path logic networks and produce statistical reports
Technical Overview
The role focuses on project controls scheduling: building resource-loaded schedules, developing and refining schedule logic, identifying constraints, calculating durations, and maintaining critical path logic networks. The scheduler evaluates design-change and schedule-delay impacts and uses historical data to support project forecasting.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level scheduler with experience building and maintaining detailed engineering and construction schedules, including resource-loaded schedules and critical path logic networks. They can analyze constraints, update schedules with design changes and delays, and use historical data to support project forecasting and clear statistical reporting.
