About this role
The Scrum Master will drive day-to-day Agile execution by facilitating ceremonies, maintaining backlog health, and improving delivery flow. The role also ensures audit-ready traceability using Azure DevOps (ADO) as the authoritative system of work execution and evidence, including release notes and production readiness alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) project structures and traceability chains
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and manage sprint-level artifacts
- Maintain backlog health and monitor delivery flow for bottlenecks
- Track impediments and coordinate with architecture/data/security/infrastructure/governance teams
- Produce release notes and ensure pipeline-to-work-item traceability and production readiness
Technical Overview
This position is centered on configuring and managing Azure DevOps (ADO) project structures (epics, features, user stories, tasks) and maintaining traceability chains through PRs, pipelines, and releases. It includes operating Agile metrics in ADO (burndown, velocity, throughput, flow efficiency, capacity) and enforcing Definition of Done with testing and documentation evidence.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level Scrum Master experienced with day-to-day Agile facilitation and strong backlog/flow management. They have hands-on expertise using Azure DevOps (ADO) to maintain audit-ready traceability from epics to production release, including dashboards, Definition of Done evidence, impediment tracking, and release notes.
