About this role
SDM for S3T Engineering leads the roadmap and architecture for secure third-party tools, partnering with customers, platform engineering, and senior leadership to achieve security-enabled product priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- own the roadmap and architecture for your products
- work closely with customers, partner teams, and core platform engineering teams
- drive key engineering and data science priorities aligning to Security and businesses to achieve the right outcomes
- collaborate with senior leadership to drive resource allocation and timelines
- recruit, hire, and mentor teams of Software Engineers
Technical Overview
Scope includes product roadmaps, architecture design, and collaboration with engineering, data science and product teams to improve security automation and scale across Amazon systems.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an engineering manager with 3+ years leading engineering teams and 7+ years of direct engineering experience, skilled in architecture, multi-tier web services, and lifecycle practices. They excel at cross-functional collaboration with product/program management and are comfortable driving platform-level security and reliability initiatives.
