About this role
GuidePoint Security is seeking a Security Architect (Florida) to support account executives with technical cybersecurity guidance across the Southeast region. The role is primarily pre-sales, guiding prospects and customers through evaluations, demos, and architecture-led recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical security guidance and product recommendations for new business
- Serve as design/architecture lead and primary technical interface through the engagement lifecycle
- Lead solution demos with vendor support tailored to client objectives
- Produce and document operational and technical requirements, including RFI/RFP input
- Evaluate client environments and identify optimization opportunities, overlaps, and gaps
Technical Overview
You will lead cybersecurity solution design and serve as the primary technical interface for clients, conducting technology evaluations and producing documented operational and technical requirements. The position supports RFIs and RFPs and coordinates vendor enablement through vendor days, with both comparative analysis of competitive offerings and tailored security solution demos.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a security architect with strong cybersecurity solution design and pre-sales experience in the Southeast region. They can lead architecture for client engagements, run security solution demos with vendor support, evaluate technologies for fit, and develop RFIs and RFPs with clear operational and technical requirements.
