Join Calix’s Security Engineering team for a 90-day remote summer internship. You will investigate how to leverage AI to improve security outcomes by conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs), focusing on cloud security, threat detection, vulnerability management, automation, and security operations.

  • Research, design and implement AI security Proof of Concepts (POCs)
  • Evaluate AI for Detection & Response and Threat Modeling/Vulnerability Management
  • Assess automation and scripting to streamline security processes
  • Determine AI approaches for cloud and hybrid infrastructure security on AWS and GCP
  • Document POC implementations and deliver final recommendation reports

Hands-on work researching and implementing AI-enabled Proof of Concepts for security activities including Detection & Response, Threat Modeling & Vulnerability Management, and Security Operations using real-time log analysis. You will evaluate cloud security approaches across AWS and GCP, and document findings in a final recommendation report.
