About this role
Security leadership role ensuring compliance with NISPOM and related government security requirements for GXO's defense services, including personnel security, training, and incident management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain NISPOM compliance
- Manage FOI mitigations
- Provide security guidance to HR/Contracts/Program Managers
- Administer personnel security and DD-254 processes
- Conduct self-inspections and audits
Technical Overview
Involves working with multiple government security systems of record (DISS, NISS, NCCS, e-QIP) and interpreting policies under 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced Facility Security Officer with 5+ years in industrial security, holding at least a Secret clearance, and proficient in handling government security systems and ITAR/EAR compliance.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent work or military experience5 years relevant FSO experienceEligibility for access to Secret information (minimum Secret level active security clearance)Five (5) years of FOCI mitigation experienceFive (5) years safeguarding experienceAbility to manage special projects and training initiativesExperience with security systems of record (DISSNISSNCCSe-QIPetc.)Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and ability to interpret government policy
