Security Officer (Unarmed Security) role responsible for monitoring and patrolling healthcare facilities to keep people and property safe. The officer provides exceptional customer service, verifies credentials, controls traffic/parking, responds to emergencies, and completes required incident documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol facilities and designated entrances/exits
Verify credentials and provide directions to authorized areas
Provide exceptional customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and physicians
Respond immediately to emergency/unusual situations including medical emergencies
Prepare and submit required incident documentation

Operational security responsibilities for a hospital environment: situational awareness, access/credential verification, incident response, and incident documentation aligned to system and Tenet corporate security policies.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced Security Officer with a minimum of 2 years in security, law enforcement, or military background (or 3+ years strong customer service with willingness to learn security). They hold AHA BLS and have the required state licensure and a valid state driver's license, with a proven ability to monitor/patrol facilities and respond to emergencies professionally.
