The Senior Accountant will compile, review, analyze, reconcile, and interpret financial information to prepare working papers and internal, statutory, and GAAP basis financial statements and supplementary schedules. Technical Overview

This is an accounting-focused role centered on financial reporting and reconciliation work. The work involves GAAP and highly preferred statutory (SAP) accounting, preparing working papers, balancing and coding data for the general ledger system, and using Excel and Word to support reporting outputs and auditor response workflows.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior accountant with at least 2 years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and hands-on skills compiling and reconciling financial information, including working papers and financial statement support. They have experience with investment and cash account reconciliations, respond confidently to internal/external auditors and state regulators, and can work in a hybrid schedule based in Omaha, NE.
