The Senior Accountant provides advanced accounting services including financial analysis, budgeting support, and complex transaction review. The role performs monthly general ledger and bank reconciliations, handles sales tax returns and regulatory reporting, and supports accounting policy improvements while coordinating and mentoring staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts with supporting documentation
- Prepare and reconcile bank accounts with supporting schedules and roll forwards
- Prepare sales tax returns and coordinate regulatory reporting
- Analyze financial reports and recommend accounting policy and procedure changes
- Coordinate scheduling, train, and mentor staff

They can perform general ledger and bank reconciliations, prepare sales tax returns and regulatory reporting, and confidently prepare and analyze financial reports using advanced Excel skills, with an added advantage of healthcare accounting experience.
