About this role

The Senior Accountant, Payroll Accounting ensures the accurate and timely preparation and recording of payroll compensation accounting transactions for Cheniere Energy and subsidiaries under U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. The role supports share-based compensation accounting and disclosures, processes monthly ADP payroll, performs reconciliations and allocations, and supports month-end close along with budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and record monthly ADP payroll and analyze payroll expenses
Account for share-based compensation with reconciliations and footnote disclosure support
Perform payroll and bonus cost allocations and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Support monthly accounting close, annual budget, and monthly forecast maintenance
Conduct U.S. GAAP research related to plan changes and reporting guidelines
