About this role
This role uses advanced analytics to understand member and provider behavior, inform network strategies, and improve operational effectiveness. The Senior Analyst supports business leaders with analysis templates, trend/predictive insights, and evaluation of pilot programs to measure outcomes and demonstrate value.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide analytical insights to support business solution development
- Develop analysis templates for problem diagnosis and opportunities assessment
- Consult on designing and executing tests or pilot programs
- Trend and forecast patterns related to value based payment data and healthcare costs
- Research challenging issues in measuring outcomes and evaluate incremental value of new data sources
Technical Overview
Applies statistical analysis and forecasting to network analytics, using value based payment data and healthcare cost drivers. Designs and refines analysis templates for diagnosis and opportunities assessment, consults on test/pilot execution, and conducts research on outcomes measurement and data-source limitations.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior healthcare analytics professional with an MS, MA, or PhD in a quantitative discipline and 5+ years of experience in related health care analytics. They are skilled in advanced analytics for provider network optimization, including trend analytics, statistical analysis, forecasting, and outcomes measurement tied to value based payment data.
