About this role

This role drives end-to-end IT strategic sourcing initiatives for JetBlue by building RFPs, negotiating with Business Partners, and executing contracts. The analyst delivers measurable value using financial/scenario modeling and presents data-driven business cases to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives from end-to-end, including market research and RFP development
Conduct financial and scenario modeling to evaluate proposals and total cost of ownership
Partner with Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Operational teams to align commercial and contractual aspects
Monitor Business Partner performance and support continuous improvement through reviews and the JetBlue Contract Management Lifecycle office
Prepare and present data-driven recommendations and business cases to leadership

Technical Overview

The scope focuses on sourcing strategy and commercial arrangements rather than software engineering. Key analytical work includes financial modeling, scenario modeling, and total cost of ownership analysis, supported by MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and reporting tools including ad Hoc reporting.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior strategic sourcing analyst with 2+ years of strategic sourcing and supplier/service management experience. They can build RFPs, run financial and scenario modeling including total cost of ownership, and produce data-driven business cases for leadership. They are strong in cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and contract management teams.
