About this role
Senior Analytics Engineer responsible for the data stack architecture, ingestion, transformation, and governance at Grafana Labs. You will partner with multiple stakeholders to implement scalable data pipelines and best practices for testing and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own, operate, and maintain the architecture and infrastructure of our data stack (e.g. BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran)
- Ensure data availability, accuracy, and accessibility
- Partner with GTM, Self-Serve, Marketing, Finance, and BizApps to understand data needs
- Become the go-to expert on our data pipeline, data tools, and what our data means
- Create data processes and standard operating procedures that leverage AI agent skills and rules
Technical Overview
Stack includes BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran; cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform); emphasis on data quality, testing, version control, and documentation within a remote-first organization.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior analytics engineer with 3-5 years of data modeling experience, proficient in dbt, BigQuery, and Fivetran, and capable of building robust data quality and testing processes for a remote-first data stack.
