Travelers is hiring a Senior Architect for AI Solutions Architecture within AI and Emerging Technology Architecture. The role focuses on designing and delivering modern AI systems, including agentic and generative solutions, that meet business needs with strong governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement scalable, production-grade AI solutions using AI/ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI systems
  • Design LLM integration, RAG pipelines, memory systems, and tool/function-calling patterns
  • Apply orchestration frameworks (LangChain, Strands, Crew AI) and integration patterns such as Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Support governance and risk processes for safe and compliant AI deployments (EU AI Act, NAIC, NIST AI RMF)
  • Provide reusable patterns and reference architectures to advance the enterprise AI solutions architecture practice

Technical Overview

You will architect production-grade AI solutions using AI/ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI systems, autonomous agent design, orchestration frameworks (LangChain, Strands, Crew AI), and integration patterns such as Model Context Protocol (MCP). The scope includes LLM integration, RAG pipelines, memory systems, tool/function-calling patterns, and compliance-aligned governance using EU AI Act, NAIC, and NIST AI RMF.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior architect with hands-on AI/ML experience across Generative AI and Agentic AI systems, including autonomous agent design and orchestration frameworks. They can translate business requirements into LLM and RAG-based platform designs with strong governance, risk, and compliance knowledge using frameworks like EU AI Act, NAIC, and NIST AI RMF.
