Senior Backend Engineer to help build a petabyte-scale observability platform with a focus on DX. You will own backend services and data pipelines, collaborating with open-source contributors and customers to deliver fast, reliable, developer-friendly systems.

Technical Overview

Stack includes TypeScript/Node.js with Express or Fastify; Go; Docker/Kubernetes; OpenTelemetry; API design and distributed systems; bonus for ClickHouse/PostgreSQL experience. Emphasis on scalable, high-throughput data pipelines and a strong DX focus.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior backend engineer with strong TypeScript/Node.js skills, proficient in API design and distributed systems, and comfortable contributing to Go-based services. They should be motivated to build developer tooling and DX for an observability platform, with openness to OpenTelemetry and PostgreSQL/ClickHouse ecosystems.
