About this role
Senior BSA within Marathon Petroleum's Planning & Optimization team, responsible for eliciting requirements and translating them into scalable, compliant IT solutions for production planning, distribution scheduling, and multimodal logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads improvement recommendations and presents to management
- Presents and leads client meetings with business and development teams
- Provides recommendations for appropriate systems alternatives/enhancements
- Partners with business teams to develop performance measures
- Leads the development, execution, and creation of cross-functional testing strategy
Technical Overview
Focus on Agile product development with emphasis on SOX ITGC controls, IT governance, and testing strategies. Domain knowledge includes marine logistics systems like Veson IMOS, Mainstay, and Navarik.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior business systems analyst with 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of SOX ITGC controls, and a background in marine logistics systems (e.g., Veson IMOS, Navarik).
