About this role
Senior Carrier Accounts Payable Representative responsible for resolving direct payables inquiries, analyzing complex paperwork issues, and releasing direct payments to partners according to required controls. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service while handling high-volume inbound calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve daily issues using systems functionality and established processes and meet quality/error rate guidelines
- Release direct payments to partners according to required procedures and controls
- Analyze data to resolve complex problems and open direct payables questions
- Manage high-volume incoming calls, answer partner questions, and log call details
- Identify trends and contribute ideas for process improvements
Technical Overview
Uses established processes and system functionality to manage direct payables workflows, log call details, and navigate C.H. Robinson core systems. Preferred experience includes Navisphere; Microsoft Office Suite is also preferred.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior-level accounts payable professional with 4+ years of data entry or related experience and 2+ years of customer service experience using both written and verbal communication. They are highly accurate, comfortable working in a fast-paced, transactional environment, and experienced with direct payables workflows and Navisphere (preferred).
