GovCIO is hiring a Citrix Engineer/Administrator to support operational maintenance and engineering for OIG network solutions in the EPA OIG environment. The role involves designing network infrastructure, maintaining VMware and Citrix environments, providing advanced support, and ensuring Federal/EPA compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement on-premise and cloud network solutions; Implement disaster recovery solutions using VMware; Maintain the VMware environment using Power CLI and PowerShell; Create and maintain the Citrix master images and support Citrix environment issues; Provide executive level reports and ensure solutions meet FedRAMP and NIST compliance
Technical Overview
This position covers Citrix Engineering (including SSO and master images) alongside VMware-based disaster recovery and environment maintenance. The engineer uses PowerShell and Power CLI, supports gateway/workspace/access control, troubleshoots incidents, and stays current with network engineering best practices while meeting FedRAMP and NIST standards.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior Citrix Engineer with 10+ years of Citrix Engineering experience and strong general system administration skills. They can enable Single-Sign On, design on-premise and cloud network solutions, maintain Citrix master images and gateway/workspace access control, and operate VMware environments using PowerShell and Power CLI while aligning to FedRAMP and NIST compliance expectations.
