About this role
Senior cloud platform engineer responsible for operating, improving, and scaling Lilly's production bioinformatics infrastructure on AWS, spanning infrastructure, workflows, and platform reliability. Partners with scientists to translate workflow needs into scalable platform solutions and contributes to architecture decisions.

Technical Overview

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior cloud platform engineer with 4+ years in pharma/biotech, deep AWS experience, and hands-on bioinformatics workflow expertise (Nextflow/Snakemake) capable of operating production NGS pipelines at scale. They should be adept at cross-disciplinary collaboration, platform automation, and securing cloud-based research infrastructure.
