About this role
Senior Computer Network Support Specialist to provide advanced network engineering and troubleshooting for TSA’s enterprise network, supporting 24x7 mission-critical operations and coordinating with the O&M contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 network troubleshooting during deployments and transitions
- Develop and maintain network runbooks and runbooks
- Conduct network health assessments and performance analyses
- Coordinate with O&M contractor for knowledge transfer and readiness
- Develop operational procedures and standards
Technical Overview
Focus on routing and switching, LAN/WAN, campus networking, wireless, and cloud connectivity; CCNP preferred; candidates must be U.S. citizens with Public Trust clearance; DHS standards applicability.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior network engineer with 6+ years of enterprise networking, CCNP, and experience in federal government environments; capable of maintaining TSA-level network availability and documenting runbooks while coordinating with an O&M contractor.
