Position Details
About this role
Own and drive control architectures and control strategy for ultrahigh-performance semiconductor inspection and metrology motion platforms. You will work across actuator design, mechanics, software, and optics to integrate, validate, and prepare systems for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive control architectures for next-generation semiconductor inspection and metrology systems
- Own control strategy decisions from early concept through integration, validation, and production
- Influence system architecture alongside senior engineers across actuator design, mechanics, software, and optics
- Integrate and validate control strategies on real hardware and custom actuators
- Work on performance limits where theory meets physics
Technical Overview
The role focuses on real hardware control architecture definition, system integration, and validation for custom actuators and high-performance motion platforms used in semiconductor inspection and metrology. It requires technical leadership spanning control strategy, mechanics, and optics to reach performance limits.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior control systems engineer with deep experience owning control architectures and control strategy for high-performance motion systems. They have hands-on experience integrating and validating real hardware involving custom actuators, mechanics, and optics for semiconductor inspection and metrology applications.
